Mcateer is appalling, nothing we didn't know before. Even McKenna has seen it now and that's why Egeli plays 90% of the time. Still doesn't explain why we were willing to pay 12 million for him. |  |

They've all been shots from distance, I think that would have been perfect on his left foot from 3 yards out. | |

It probably would have been ideal for him, but then you could argue that McAteer wouldn't have wasted the lots of crossing opportunities Egeli did. Six of one and half a dozen of the other imo. Apart from one delicious whipped in ball into the left inside right position Egeli was very wasteful today. But he's still got a lot of developing to do. We can carry him if other players are performing, but nobody across that front line did today. Azon looked out of his depth against their CBs, Akpom looked lost, Billy Jean selfish and ineffective. Clarke very meh when he came on and a fan had won a competition to take Nunez's place.
