Anyone spot him wincing and limping off at FT yesterday? Hopefully nothing sinister...

Yeah I think he’s battling through like a few others and he got a lot of attention yesterday from WBA players.

I was glad to see burns back before he leaves, but I wonder if Leif is done for the season

Yes i thought he looked in a lot of discomfort too as he approached us in the away rnd. Hopefully nothing but wouldn't surprise me if he's not in Tuesday's squad.

I was thinking the same regarding Leif. His season was pretty much finished by that retrospective three match ban.

Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.

But he's fit isn't he? After yesterday I would prefer to see Leif back in his regular spot and Greaves moved back into the middle of the back four at the expense of Kipre, who was outstanding earlier in the season, but has been underwhelming of late.

Certainly not match fit. That was apparent when he played that lazy pass which led to Boro’s second goal. He’s since picked up a hamstring injury. When you play with the sort of intensity that Leif does you need to be match fit. If not you pick up injuries.

He had the ban, then the birth of his baby, so he’s missed a lot of football. McKenna said he was nowhere near being fit for yesterday so I can’t see him being thrown in on Tuesday.

Probably not getting much sleep to recover!

Fair play to Greaves, thought he gave everything and was stretching as though he had cramp at the end, hopefully nothing worse. Also noticed after most had left Hirst was doing some lengths across the pitch on his own, did he pick up a knock?

Mehmeti can play left side on Tuesday.

He isn’t performing in the 10 spot

That’s because like Sammy and Akpom he isn’t a number 10!

KM comments after the game seem to suggest he might make it for one or other of the remaining games.
I thought Greaves was excellent yesterday, our best player.

Agree - he was really good again yday was JG.

Been excellent since he came back into the team.

Defintely a touch of the Hermans about him when he plays LB. One beautiful chest and cross in the first half yesterday.

Maybe his last game for us before he goes to Turkey this summer and I don’t mean teeth.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Indeed. That referee's spiteful retrospective report appears to have led (indirectly) to an injury to one of our key players.

Just remember that the next time some halfwit on social media claims the odds have been stacked in our favour.

Nothing official but hes out of contract at the end of the season and there’s been no suggestion of a new one.

People are putting 2 plus 2 together and on this occasion probably getting 4!

I reckon Leif back for the QPR game only and probably a risk.

Yes I did, shouldn't be a problem as we've got where we are for long periods without him this season.

If that was Leif not match fit I can't wait to see him firing on all cylinders on Saturday!!!!
