Tbh - as much as I don’t like what happened with Farage, given what’s transpired today I’m bloody glad he’s still here.
We need continuity and some stability - losing CEO and Coach in a few months wouldn’t have been an absolute hammer blow.
MA, regardless of my personal feeling, has shown himself to be highly competent on the football side as well as thorough and diligent. So I’m somewhat confident he will have ducks in a row in terms of replacement and I for one and glad he’s still around with hindsight. | | | |

I don't think it was a split of the moment decision, MA would probably have known the McK was going at the end of the season, probably after promotion but the club kept it under wraps.
Not sure of the real reason though, plenty of rumours flying around - was McK just exhausted after the gruelling season? Did McK have a look at the budget, recruitment etc for next season and felt it wasn't enough to stay up and quit because he didn't want 2 relegations on his CV? Or did he fall out with Ashton and his management style/Faragegate? | | | |
