If and/ or when the virus spread picks up, it won’t be the Government’s fault.
It will be other people.
It won’t be as a result of the Government committing to and saying something like:
We need to have x thousand tests done daily, a working track and trace app for y% of the population and z thousand track and trace professionals trained and ready. When we have achieved that we can start to ease the lockdown.
They won’t do that, since it will require the government being measured against something objective rather than “ well there is a pandemic on doncha know”. |  | | |
