Phil, what’s stopping lambert from being sacked and just having klug, dyer and butcher in charge until he’s got a new man? Surely ME doesn’t believe lambert can still turn this around? Especially after lambert throwing ME under the bus on Wednesday, Darragh Macantony made it clear on Twitter he would of sacked his manger if he done something like that.

Full payout for Lambert and all his staff, possibly the expense of an industrial tribunal. Klug, Dyer and Butcher aren't going to do the job for free.

Doesn't that make you sick when you see figures like this bandied about. People struggling to feed their kids and a man will be paid a ridiculous amount of money because he is a failure. But that is this crazy sport, no wonder the public seem to be so distanced from players and managers in football these days
