A new keeper is a must.
New RB (just can’t see KVY ever coming back).
New centre half.
New centre mid.
Wide players (with a bit of pace hopefully).
A goal scorer or 2.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

This has nailed it for me! Realistically it means 7/8 players coming in over the summer though! If we go up I'm not sure Kenlock will be good enough for the championship so another left back could be added to that list!

First & most important thing we need is 2/3 strikers who can put the ball in the back of the net consistently. Then worry about the others. That has been our standout problem for 3 seasons.

Just the 3? Should be easy

Chris Maxwell who managed to concede 6 goals from 8 shots we had on him?
Vadaine Oliver who's 29 and has a 1 in 5 goalscoring record in the lower leagues?

Don't disagree. But exactly how many finely-crafted chances did Norwood fail to put away last night?

P.C. calls it front-foot football, but he will know it's a bigger job than just bringing in a few. He will want to try to coach those we already have out of their instilled fear (called possession stats apparently).

Chris Maxwell - no- never rated him, Cornell better.

Chey Dunkley - can see that

Vadaine Oliver - Will more likely be Will Grigg

Michael Jacobs - yes please

**Gavin Massey I am sure we will look at as well when his contract expires in the summer.
** Fejiri Okenabirhie
** Tendayi Darikwa

Think Nydam may get a chance at LB next season

Thought Okenabirhie was excellent against us, but he's contracted to Doncaster until Summer 2022.

Doncaster might have paid as little as £75k for him in January 2020 as a 23-year-old who had scored 1 in 4 for Shrewsbury in this league. It's the kind of transfer that makes our recruitment policy looks absolutely awful in comparison. How much will we have shelled out in loan fees and loan player wages for wide forwards since they brought him in?

Thought he signed an 18 month deal back in January 2020?

Vadaine Oliver is toilet duck... Had a good game Saturday but he's never been prolific in L1, L2 or even the Conference

He's also produced the worst miss I've ever seen (2:55)

I like him. Having a solid season. And would suit our 1 up top formation.

first time I checked it swear it said 2022, but now I check again it says 2021...
Excellent option in either division then, I reckon.

His previous statistics suggest it's just a flash in the pan though. And while he clearly contributes more than goals, if we're to play 1 up front, we need that player to be getting 15-20 goals, which he isn't capable of.

Agree on three or four players, anything more isn’t necessary and leads to problems. Historically, we know this! If I could have anyone from the pick of League One only, it’d be:

- CB - Nathan Thompson, Peterborough
- DLP - John Bostock, Doncaster
- LB - Cohen Bramall, Lincoln
- LW - Ronan Curtis, Portsmouth

Holy
KVY - Chambers / Wolf - Thompson - Bramall
Downes - Bostock
Bishop
Jackson - Norwood - Curtis

Just because he’s good on football manager/FIFA doesn’t mean he’s good in reality

The big question is what biscuits will be on his shopping list. Dark chocolate digestives, I reckon. As for crisps, he’s got cheese and onion written all over him.

We have to get rid of an awful lot before he can think of buying, and I reckon Cook is well aware of that. It is possible that he thinks he has the players to get us promoted if it doesn’t happen this year.

Unless I have missed something, the potential new owners have said nothing about fresh money for investing in new players.
