The football world backed him over Judge, we got mocked and Judge was widely called a cheater so he's right to bite back a bit. If the audio is correct then the referee should be gone from the game for good, not only did he get in Judge's face but also fabricated the reasons why he acted out of order to begin with. As Judge says, he's just lost his mum.
He wanted it to be dropped and doesn't need the hassle.
For matey to come gunning for Judge knowing this is all rather low.
The ref had already apologised so no need to then continue to try to justify himself at Judge's expense. |  |

I think they’re perfectly happy to allow Drysdale to ref again; indeed Judge had let it go as he left the pitch. It’s the use of the ‘c’ word which is being disputed.
As stated elsewhere it also looks like all this was taking place whilst Judge was dealing with his mum’s health. | |

I think that is a little of an overstatement.
For some reason, the FA had charged Drysdale. Clearly something that had been said had wound Drysdale up to the degree it did. Clearly Judge never wanted it taken further either. There is also in the mitigation a statement that Drysdale has been going through personal situations that the disciplinary committee felt did not need to be specified in the report. I wonder if, inadvertently something that Drysdale thought he heard Judge say hit a particular nerve.
As well as Judge's personal situation, his refusal to give any detail on what he did say is possibly wise. If he had reported to the committee that he had said language that should have seen a second yellow card, would the committee then have the power to issue the second yellow card and ban him?
I think the best thing for all involved would be if this went no further than it already has. Judge and ITFC do not want to be upsetting officials. Drysdale has served a short suspension the same as any player in a similar situation would have done. A line drawn under it now would be good.
Plus, as bad as losing his Mum is, I am glad it wasn't what we thought it might have been. I hope his daughter is fully recovered now. |  |

he did absolutely, but that doesnt stop the club from assisting the panel does it ?
because the way this is coming across now in the national press is very much against Town and Judges position on this, and very few will pick up their rebuttal or cover Judges personal circumstances at the moment, the opportunity to counter the refs evidence was at that panel, not after the report was published. | | | |

If indeed there is audio evidence, then there’s the perfect opportunity to end snd recruits totally the refs claims and prove Judges “ innocence “. Then why would Judge, via the club, feel the need to speak up and also claim there is audio to prove it? Judge was never going to face any further punishment, if Drysdale's account is accurate then Judge has nothing at all to gain by denying it. | |

Whether Judge accuses DD of lying at the hearing or after it, what does it matter? If the guy's lying, why wouldn't you defend yourself and say so? |  |
