Rested or dropped i'm very intrigued to see how our midfield functions without him.
Most recent games have passed him by and he has had zilch influence so i think this could be quite beneficial to us. |  |

I think he's turning into an example of a player who puts in a lot of work but not many people recognise it. Another year or two of solid experience in this role and I reckon he's got the potential to be quite a decent player. |  |

This. He’s one of those players that make it easy to see if someone understands football. Like Jermaine Wright, James Scowcroft, Jim Magilton and Coke Skuse before him - if you don’t rate him I don’t rate your opinion.
To be clear I agree he hasn’t been brilliant recently, but the amount of people who’ve written him off on here is ridiculous. He’s suffered from Downes and Skuse’s injuries and a lack of quality and confidence in front of him. |  |
