Was chatting about this at the weekend, kinda whittled it down to 3 but happy to add others in if I have missed any glaring obvious ones.
2005 Ashes win Liverpool in Istanbul Miracle at Medinah
Personally, that summer of the Ashes was just magnificent, having lived in Oz in the late 90's and was given pelters by the Aussies whilst I lived there about our abject team, that one resonated with me for a number of reasons.

Leicester winning the Prem? Or are we talking one-offs?
That's a good shout to be fair, that does have to go down as one of the greatest sporting feats of the past 20 years.
On a personal level, whilst it was great that they broke the cartel for a season, the ashes win overall pips it for me, just for the drama and the personalities.
Not sure of the parameters for best sporting feat - but for things that grabbed the nation, I'd add super saturday, 2012 olympics, especially coming off the back of Bradley Wiggins' Tour De France win.

I walked past the Olympic Stadium yesterday, still annoys me to see West Ham branding all over it.
That's definitely the up there, the 2005 Ashes because it was the culmination of several years building that team - Pakistan 2000, SA Oval 2003, the Summer of 2004 and SA away that Winter.
Golf isn't a proper sport so think we can rule that one out. It's tricky, for Leicester to do what they did over a season is something pretty remarkable, arguably more so than Liverpool producing an amazing second half in a one-off final. The 2005 Ashes was an incredible sporting occasion and to win it was a great achievement, although McGrath getting injured before the second test probably helped us a little. It's also tough to compare individual feats with team sports. As others have said, the way Usain Bolt destroyed the 100m and 200m records such that we probably won't see them broken again for a very long time is a pretty insane feat.
I'd also probably add Alex Honnold's free climb of El Capitan - I remember it described as an Olympic Gold medal performance, where if you don't win gold, you die.
A world cup quarter final which England won with no need of a last minute winner, extra time or a penalty shootout. Not the sort of performance we have come to expect and in terms of the lack of drama all a bit "meh". Some achievement for an England football team to win out in such a run-of-the-mill fashion.

You say, correctly, that golf isn't a sport but then go on to list an achievement in cricket, which is also not a sport.

I'd agree that I don't think they could be beaten, the latter two in terms of comebacks as well.
The 2005 Ashes will live long in my memory, unforgettable when cricket was last on Channel 4. Was glued to the screen all summer however I don't know if feat wise it quite matches the others. Whilst we were underdogs we had the capabilities in the team and weren't quite on the brink of a loss (Edgbaston aside!).
I still can't believe Greece won the Euros in 2004 - a worthy mention. Ben Stokes at Headingley 'feat'-wise has to be considered too. That was near impossible what he and Leach achieved.

Yeah, that Stokes innings really was something else. We must have had a lower than 1% chance of winning that test when Leach came to the crease and for Stokes to knock off those runs having already batted long was incredible.
The Paralympics 2012 for me because they completely transformed my mind in regard to people with disabilities.
Of those ot said above, mentions for:
Tyson Fury going from completely knocked out to winning the rematch comfortably.
Working class mixed race lad from Stevenage working his ass off to become the best in the world (and possibly of all time) in a sport where billionaires' sons get the lucky breaks.
Andy Murray doing what Tiger Tim couldn't, by dragging himself around the court at times. Pure will-power.

Never understood the fascination with the 2005 Ashes series. For a start it is a two horse race. I realise Australia was an exceptional team but it is still a two horse rage and England had some brilliant cricketers as well. For me it doesn't mean much.
In football Greece 2004 and Leicester 2016 are unbeatable, along with Spain winning three tournaments in a row. France could equal this next year if they get a bit of luck like Spain enjoyed.
Tiger winning his last major was a great moment too, as was this year's Grand National.
