Too right. But horses for courses. Some prefer results, others prefer "performances".

Fair enough. I may not be MMs biggest fan on some things, but I’m 100% with him on this. He’s spot on.

Some prefer both. It is possible as messrs Robson, Burley, Lyall and Royle so admirably proved.

Top bloke. I think he also refused to meet Thatcher if I remember correctly

He's a really good guy, whenever I came across him, which was only just being in the town, he came across a top man. Whatever you think of his football, some of the personal abuse he received from some of our so called fans, was disgraceful

He's hardly going to come out and say "it's a load of nonsense" is he? haha

Teams like Luton Town have decided they aren't doing it (I'm sure other teams as well - Think QPR and Brentford are a few) and I think that is fine. Each team to their own.

I have huge respect for the likes of Wilfried Zaha, the first Premier League player not to "take the knee", especially as he explained his reasons. Les Ferdinand has also explained what an empty gesture he thinks it is, akin to the "kick it out" badges etc.

Do you afford the same respect to those players of colour who continue to take the knee?

He did. He also delivered a wonderful eulogy for a Barnsley legend. It’s very telling he inspires such vitriol from a certain type and the football angle is always revised into fairytale stuff.

You'd think that someone who defended PRP to the hilt like he did would probably learn the wisdom of not airing his 'different' opinions. Or at least be prepared for people to mock them.
