His latest video from the last 2 hours says Russia will step up the aggression until Ukraine agree to meet them.
Not exactly diplomatic is he?
Ukraine have offered to meet in Poland or Turkey, just not Belarus who are themselves fighting in Ukraine
He's an absolute PoS and this sorry episode brings that home to roost.
I'd have thought somewhere neutral like Germany who have an interest either way would be better. However, taking Zelensky out of Ukraine is a huge act of faith isn't it?

Zelensky would be unlikely to attend himself in this situation.
Carefully selected delegation on both sides

Isn't this so he can say he tried before they bomb the sh1t out of Kyiv?
Why do people in England keep saying 'Kyiv'?
When we reported on the Bataclan attacks in Paris we didn't pronounce it Pa-ree. If there is a peace conference in Munich, we won't say it's in München.
I know it's a very trivial pet hate with all things considered.
Make Donetsk and Luhansk independent states with the rest of Ukraine announcing that they will remain neutral and not become part of NATO? Putin has to come out of this with a degree of 'success' otherwise he'll never accept it.

'The short answer is simple: Ukrainians call their capital “Kyiv” (kee-yiv), the spelling, a transliteration of the Ukrainian Київ. The Russian version is “Kiev” (kee-yev)'

Hope that helps.
Ah. That makes sense considering how Russia are behaving.

This was brought up on the radio today, the presenter advised that Kiev is the Russian pronunciation - only for a Ukrainian bloke to phone in and advise that all his family, including his 89 year old dad who still lives there all pronounce it Kiev.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”
Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.

And then what? If that was to happen Putin would then move on to the next country. Absolutely no way should the world bow down to that c***.

How about Putin agrees to withdraw troops from Ukraine and Belarus and then stand down as Russian president?
Then the world can assess whether that is sufficient to withdraw charges of crimes against humanity.

Well I would be disappointed if any negotiation ends with a sovereign country giving away any of its rights.
Why does Putin have to come out of this with something he can even spin as "a result"?
Because, realistically, that is the only possible way to talk him down. Anything else endangers his position at home and makes him look weak. Wchih may well prompt him to further acts to show how big and tough he is...
