I lost my brother to it 4 years ago.... he was also a Town fan, and the memories from going to games with him, especially in Europe in Burley's reign, are some I will treasure for ever.

Sorry for your loss... RIP.

Very sorry to hear that JK. I guess you might be talking about Prostate Cancer, the No1 bad news for men. I was lucky to have survived, but due to the treatment, stopped travelling up to Suffolk to watch live matches. Been a fan for 60 years!

As it happens, I produced a documentary film about Prostate cancer which many men and their partners all over the world have found helpful. If anyone on here, or you know AN Other who has been diagnosed, do put them my way and I can share the link to the Film. My son is a professional film maker and it was a great Dad & Son effort.

Condolences, jaykay, I don't believe in an afterlife myself but the thought of a Town fan having Bobby Robson, Kevin Beattie, Paul Mariner and Sir Alf ready with a cup of tea and some stories is a lovely thought that almost converts me.

Condolences Jay, so sad he won't be able to see the good times come back. Terrible lose a family member like that but he saw the end of the Marcus Evans era which hopefully put a smile on his face
