McK’s reign would be short but glorious? Turns out I was only half right this time.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
If there is one manager in the game that wouldn't take a step up it's McKenna to Watford.
A manager in his first job, who comes across as loyal, who has a project here that's likely to be more ambitious than stopping at being a Watford, prepared to jump ship after 5 months, ruining a large part of his reputation and putting off future employers, by moving to a club that could easily sack him after 3 months if he doesn't make an amazing start, strikes me as a tad unlikely.
As it no doubt does you.

I wouldn't call it 'glorious' yet - certainly a good start, but to say you were half right is a bit premature to be calling it glorious. Hopefully when he wins the league for us next season, as is his aim and ambition, you could claim to be half right.
You could say short and inglorious and probably be half right too as Schwarz will fire him if Town are not in the top 6 come the fall as us Ohio-based soccer investors say.
On the one her hand IF Town are riding high next season then he’s bound to be headhunted. Maybe a big club like QPR or Blackburn. Or Leeds when they don’t threaten to get back to the Prem

he stands out a mile doesn't he
Little it worrying that for me. He appears to be an integral part of whats going on. Losing him could undo alot of hard work. Fingers crossed they hire someone quickly and not one of his old colleagues.

I'd like to think that he and McKenna will come out with a clear statement that 'we are staying' and nip all this speculation in the bud

You're finally going on the div list.
It's one thing apparently being a 68 year old Town fan who apparently has the world most negative view and has to constantly post it on here, under a deliberately chosen username.
But when you start suggesting the likes of 11,000 in the Championship playoffs Blackburn and 12,000 QPR are 'big clubs' at this point you're just a bored, sad man, determined to deliberately troll and provoke people.
