I weighed myself this morning after my trip to Italy and was a little higher than I'd like. In fact, I am 60 lbs overweight. Hoping to shift that before the end of the footie season.

So, had a salad with halloumi, like you.

There's never a better time to start than today Sir. Just set yourself realistic goals would be my advice, and don't be disheartened if you don't quite reach them, as long as you're trending in the right direction you're all good.

I had always been very sporty and could afford to eat and drink what I like (within reason), but like a lot of people when the activity stopped and I hit my 30's, I noticed I gained weight, especially after having kids when I was so time poor and knackered. Covid lockdowns gave me a really good chance to put it right and I'm back where I want to be again now. Some of those habits were hard to break but once broken you'll realise it gets easier.

Good luck brother.

I got the lunch of Kings! Left over shish kebab, the rest of the coffee in the pot and a raspberry and rose vegan cheesecake. May wash it down with an icy pint of Ribena

Prawn sandwich in whole grain bread.
Banana, an apple and a handful of Victoria plums plucked from a customers tree.

Should keep me regular.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Nothing wrong with using up the shish!

And although not a fan of cheesecake myself I can see the attraction.

But never have understood Ribena. I didn't like it as a kid and see no reason why that might have changed since. Horrible stuff.

I'm envious. Best thing about a kebab, the ridiculous portion size which inevitably means some left over.

What are yer views on cream soda? I actually found 1 lone bottle of some Italian beer and chose it over the Ribena. Was a schoolboy error, nothing worse then 1 beer

I loved cream soda as a kid but not had it since.

I stopped trying a lot of things after I'd discovered beer.

A lone bottle of beer? I couldn't do that being a bit of an all or nothing kinda guy.

I can go without altogether, but one isn't an option. I'm not altogether proud of that but there ya go. I'm not sure I see the point in one beer. Either I want to get pissed or I don't.
