Jackson played well today but we could've done with Burns today.

There’s no way in a million years he’s getting in ahead of Connor Roberts. And the guy who replaced him plays in a higher league. Pointless Wes being there really and I image that shows we won’t lose him to the WC.

Ridiculous… that was a game for him today at Plymouth on 21:55 - Sep 25 with 1847 viewsunstableblue

Hope he comes back and really focuses on his Ipswich form and promotion

26 in the squads for the world cup so he's still got a chance, but Page doesn't seem to rate him. Injuries to others might play a part though.

If he does miss out would be gutting for him. Hopefully it won't affect him too much.

He didn't get on the pitch whereas we could have done with him today.

What a waste.

You'd hope they'd give him a tern at some stage or other.

Jackson did fairly well today, though I suspect Burns would have been more composed in the final third in those key moments he should have squared it

There you go, it is what it is, we have been burnt postponing games before

We probably felt the squad was strong enough to cope

You didn’t miss anything. I watched, unfortunately. A masterclass in sh*thousery by Poland and the ref bought it all. Killed the game (it was the complete opposite to our match this afternoon).

Anyway, as others have said our Wes didn’t get on.

If he comes back without an injury then all is well.

Maybe that’s the silver lining, an inadvertent rest from games.

Maybe he performed in training for them as he has in games for us this season and they get he's not upto it yet.

Was thinking same, possibly exactly what he needed - come back rested & all fired up with his earlier vim & vigour.
