Fit senior players then.... 10:53 - Nov 25 with 2552 views | itfcjoe | GK - Walton, Hladky, Coleman RB - Donacien, KVY LB - Davis, Leigh CB - Woolfenden, Burgess, Edmundson, Keogh CM - Morsy, Humphreys, Camara AM - Chaplin, Edwards, Jackson, Burns ST - Ladapo, Ahadme 20 players there, and you'd expect nearly all of them to be in the squad on Sunday, plus a couple of kids to make up the 9 man bench. It's not quite as short as we feel at the moment - but relies on Ahadme being able to contribute straight away - if he can do that for 20-30 mins a game then we will get through this period relatively comfortably for me [Post edited 25 Nov 2022 10:58]

Fit senior players then.... on 10:59 - Nov 25 with 2505 views | tractorboy1978 | We are such a well-functioning and well drilled team now that I don't think a couple of injuries have such an effect as may have done previously. We have plenty of players that can slot in and out and can play more than one role. You could even play Davis and Leigh together down that left side and both are so dynamic, comfortable going forwards and in possession that I don't think we'd lose a lot. The one man we can't afford to lose is Morsy.
Fit senior players then.... on 11:04 - Nov 25 with 2485 views | SitfcB | Looking forward to seeing Ahadme on Sunday, good opportunity for him as sure he’ll start, I know it’s lowly opposition but haven’t really seen him properly yet have we.

Fit senior players then.... on 11:10 - Nov 25 with 2462 views | Steve_M | I think it's probably that TJJ and Harness being injured add to our slightly hesitant approach to taking chances. It's still solid enough but perhaps weakens us in tight matches when we need to score.

Fit senior players then.... on 11:26 - Nov 25 with 2433 views | ITFC_Forever | Our depth of squad is certainly helping us at the moment, and you can add Burns to the RB cover if needed, and Jackson to the ST role (although he would need to be better than Tuesday night). There are certain areas we would probably look to improve in January, but that's not necessarily due to injuries, but looking to bring in better.

Given our injuries, Imagine how we’d feel if Burns was warming the bench at the World Cup. Although the way Wales are playing they’ll be home on Wednesday.

Fit senior players then.... on 11:40 - Nov 25 with 2368 views | Hackneyblueboy | GK and defence is absolutely fine. Morsy is absolutely critical, we can't afford to lose him whilst Evans is injured. I suspect he'll play on Sunday but if I was KM I wouldn't risk him. The AM options are looking very light as well. If we can get through to January without any more injuries, we should be fine but lose one of those and we'd be really down to the bones. Is Zanda Siziba a attacking player? I haven't seen him play. We may need some of the younger lads to make up the bench and to play in the cup. [Post edited 25 Nov 2022 11:40]

Should also add that Aluko will be back in a month or so's time.

Fit senior players then.... on 12:14 - Nov 25 with 2224 views | unstableblue | Posted something similar Agree we should have just enough if Ahadme can find some form, he’s looked behind the curve with ability on the ball compared to other town players, but looks to have a lot of energy. Camara looked a bit lost on Tuesday, and hoping that’s a blip. I still think we’ll still get 3 players in January of quality, with a view to a final push then championship. But to your point about having enough till then…. 19:45 Fleetwood Town H 10 Dec 12:30 Peterborough United H 17 Dec 15:00 Wycombe Wanderers A 26 Dec 15:00 Oxford United H 29 Dec 19:45 Portsmouth A 2 Jan 15:00 Lincoln City A There are some pretty tough games in there Chaplin, Ladapo, Ahadme, Edwards and Jackson are key And keeping Morsy and Humphreys fit Definitely bring back El Miz in January [Post edited 25 Nov 2022 12:55]

Well functioning, well drilled and calm and confident on the pitch and in the dugout whether things are going exactly as we want them or not. It's good.

Fit senior players then.... on 12:42 - Nov 25 with 2174 views | Chocorange | Better hope some of the players who had knocks or were ill on Tuesday are Ok JD, Chaplin, Davis , Ladapo , from Tuesday with Leigh , Ahadme , and Camara only just back and the latter 2 haven’t played much to know our patterns of play. So how fit are they? Can they play 90minutes? If all of those are still injured, Ill or not 90minute match fit , for outfield players we then only have RB. KVY CB. Wolfenden, Burgess , Edmundson , Keogh CM Morsy, Humphreys AM Edwards, Jackson, Burns No left back or strikers unless we move Jackson there. Time to get Ben Morris back off his break,? Looks likely, there will have to be kids involved on Sunday. The squad is being stretched.

Imagine how we would feel if he had been warming the bench, came on with 20 minutes to go and won the match for them and was involved in knocking England out next week instead. It is good that he didn't go on many counts.

.... of games and form.. then we'll be OK I think Humphreys is growing by the game, forming a great partnership with Morsy, and is more positive in his killer through balls Ahadme could surprise us all Did I mention we need Ahadme back?

Fit senior players then.... on 13:23 - Nov 25 with 2019 views | clive_baker | On paper that's OK, especially defensively, but the issue for me is Ahadme is a relatively unknown entity both in terms of experience and fitness. Camara has had a very long lay off and on the evidence we've seen is still some way off the pace. I think he'll need another few weeks. Jackson just doesn't have enough quality, he's OK but little more than that IMO. To be a top side at this level we're really looking at 4 players across 4 roles at the top end of the pitch (Burns, Chaplin, Edwards, Ladapo), with 2 from 2 behind them (including a very young but encouraging Humphreys). Doesn't leave a huge amount of wiggle room across what is a busy December. An injury to Ladapo and / or Morsy and we're in a spot of bother. But contrary to some of that we just need to take 1 game at a time, tick them off. There's little point trying to legislate for scenarios that might or might not arise in the future, let's just deal in the here and now. As you say we still have numbers.

Fit senior players then.... on 13:42 - Nov 25 with 1970 views | Bobbychase | Rotherham were top at the end of December last season, with 47 points from 23 games. If we can be just ahead of that, or thereabouts, it's a great launchpad for January with new signings and players coming back.

Fit senior players then.... on 15:02 - Nov 25 with 1841 views | TalkingBlues | Coleman - 3rd choice keeper Donacien - injured/niggle KVY - perma injured/ok currently Keogh - emergency use only Camara - recovering, wayyyy off the pace Ahadme - 30 minutes to date? complete unknown quantity That's 5 players out of the 20 you named that simply can't be relied upon currently and 1 who could be injured again any time, leaving 14/15 senior players to choose from. Make no mistake, we are most definitely in a bad place from squad fitness perspective and IMO need 4 or 5 quality signings in January to continue our form.
