We tried to this last year on a Sunday but we could only get a single decker into town and there were no double deckers at Electric House - it seems double deckers don’t run on a Sunday.
To make matters worse we got the wrong bus home and had to get another bus into town in order to get on the correct bus.
So - do double deckers run on Saturdays??

Yes double deckers don’t run on Sundays because on a Sunday service the buses all change to a different route after every ‘round’ and with some routes going under the rail bridge on Ancaster Road it’s not possible to have double deckers out.

Sunday trading laws suggest you can open on Sundays but only for 6 consecutive hours between 10 am and 6 pm. So it doesn't matter how you get to town, you just need to check when they are open to buy a Double Decker. Saturday should have no restrictions.

Submit your 1-24 league prediction here -https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/514096/page:1 - for the opportunity to get a free Ipswich top.
Took Junior here years ago and pretty sure they did a day when you got rides. Shut for the Winter but one for later in the year perhaps. https://www.ipswichtransportmuseum.co.uk/

Now that's spooky - I happened upon your post as I was munching on a double decker!

Funnily enough Lady Lucan posed the bus question and I said I'll post it on TW4TD. Now then, years ago she would have replied with a "You sirry irriot" response but these days she acknowledges the power of the forum.
I have a shocking memory but I recall I recently posted a question about my dogs health and an actual vet answered me!

If he’s really keek on double deckers Google ‘Showbus’ the annual busfest of bus enthusiasts. It used to be at Duxford - but has mov d on to pastures new.

Thanks Elephant but I think a quick sortie from IP4 to town will suffice.
My dad used to take me to Duxford to look at planes when all I really wanted to do was finger Julie Arbon, I don't remember ever being so bored

I quite often go by bus to Felixstowe from Foxhall Road roundabout on a Sunday (don't drive so that I can have a few beers).
More often than not the bus is a double-decker, probably about two thirds of the times. Route number 75 is (scheduled) at Foxhall Road roundabout at 16mins past the hour.
