Interesting appointment. Did quite well in his short caretaker stint at Everton IIRC, think he's a manager that might get a reaction in the short term but ultimately you have to question if they have enough quality for L1. I've actually known Ian Burchnall for a long time, from back when he was managing at University level. He got me tickets for our game at their place earlier in the season, but its not worked out for him there. I think ultimately they lack the resources for L1 and the fans never really took to him. Seems like the owner wanted to roll the dice and hope a change keeps them up, I can't see it myself though. |  |
