Although it’s well-documented the reasons why he had to retire from his playing career due to injury, I don’t really know much about McKenna as a player.
He was a central midfielder so I wonder who in our current squad he sees most in himself? Can’t see him being a Samy Morsy type player, maybe Cam Humphreys?
I am fairly certain from my FM days that he was down as a CB. Must have been FM07 or FM08 time. I am pretty sure I signed him for my non-league side as we rised up through the divisions. I am sure someone will be able to find a screenshot somewhere.

Indeed, centre midfield. Scored for Tottenham's reserves at Portman Road once. I'm guessing I was at the game but I don't remember anything of it.

Clearly not much of a talent spotter for future managers!
I did ask him about it before his first game. He remembered getting a badly cut foot more than the goal.
It's great having the archive to dip back into. This place and Loft For Words must be two of the most, if not the most, regular and long serving fanzine/fansites going.

TWTD is the b0llocks.
Not to brown nose Phil but I hope he, Gav, the team realise how valued it is. They should be very proud of it.
