Weds should have all the momentum now and should be buzzing for the final. Would like to see Barnsley do it as that will be an easier game for us next season.
Barnsley for me, and I’d say Barnsley are the better side football wise. Owls are all about physicality and hoof n hope. Take Bannon out and there’s not much left in my humble view. I also think the Barnsley fan base a damn decent bunch compared to that arrogant lot from Hillsborough.
Sheff Wed, who lost 4-2 and 2-0 against Barnsley this season, are the better side? Maybe more consistent against all teams in the league, but in a one on one game, as a Barnsley player or fan, you'd be pretty peeved if this is the one you lost, after getting six points and a 6-2 aggregate scoreline during the season.

Meh. Both are beatable and either will go straight back down.
Wednesday don't have a pot to piddle in and an ageing squad where half are already out of contract. I think Thursday will have taken any remaining stamina out of them.
Barnsley are a strange team - capable of good results but also a bit of a bottle job in the bigger games. That play-off game last night could have turned milk. Bolton were terrible.
Wednesday only beat an unbelievably crap Posh, a team who looked scared of their own shadow despite being four up from the first leg.
I'd say Barnsley, but think it'll be a rubbish final.
I can’t decide whether Norwood promotion is worse than Wendies fans. I will go Barnsley preference, marginal but because they have a play off loss, and they’ve beaten SW twice this season. We don’t need more “big club” competition next season!

Perfect summary. Love the turning milk metaphor.

Barnsley for me, we've had some cracking games against them over the years and I don't think I'll ever forget how classy their fans were after the play off final at Wembley. They looked a good footballing side when we played them and I think they'll have too much for Wednesday. A Wednesday supporting mate has been saying for ages he can't see them beating Barnsley in the play offs.
I do wonder if the game the other night has taken a lot out of Wednesday both physically and mentally. Barnsley had a much more straight-forward passage to the final and I reckon will be fresher as they go into the final.

I'm going Wednesday, they did get 96 pts which was good enough every other season to get automatic.
Also Barnsley fans were utter arses banging on about the rearranged game on social media, so sod em.
Just as a point of order they also would have finished 3rd in 17/18 to Blackburn on GD.
I think the Wendies' conduct on and off the field this season has earned them little favour. Throwing missiles at the officials, the offside equaliser at their place, winning the league in February, Marvin Johnson's elbow and the subsequent blaming of Wes Burns. B0llocks to them.
Most of all though, having watched them a handful of times this season I just find them absolutely dire to watch. Attritious boring football reliant on the individual quality of a few players.

I know the Wednesday squad is old but the final isn't until May 29th
