Or has that ship well and truly sailed, hit an iceberg and sank?

No no no.

Can we have a summer where we don’t obsess over ex-players who are no better than we already have (and are less consistent)?

Merely asking a question.

I'll go back into my box now.

I don't think it is an unreasonable question to ask.

Has always shown us moments of magic here, and you need that in some players.

I don't think he takes the shirt of Broadhead or Chaplin as one of those pocket players - but as an option in the squad, I would have ahead of Harness.

Similar player to Scott Twine, would have one or the other.

Feel like the moment's gone really. The difference in consistency of output between him and Broadhead is pretty stark.

Not dead against it if McKenna though he could offer us something but feel we'll be setting our sights a little higher.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I realise I'll be on my own here but I do wonder what McKenna would have done with Dobra in a number 10 role or Burns.

Probably rather expensive as an option, even if he was happy to do that. Didn't get a lot of action at Stoke after moving there in January (tho some of that was illness).

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

It was McKenna who let Dobra go last summer (tho not having seen him in action with the Town first team). That may partly have been because the latter wanted to be a regular starter for the sake of his career, something far more likely at Chesterfield.

Although still only 26 would be a good squad player who adds something different to everybody else at club.

Occasionally brilliant, top drawer. Too often goes missing. For me that boat has sailed

I like Celina, but the rest of the squad have improved and im not sure we really need him. There is a train of though that he might not be as compatible to KMc's player profile as the others too.

Burns could play up top in a Vardy’esque role. However, I think his work rate is invaluable on the right side. He could also do the high press.

One of those things I’d love to see in a friendly.

Would definitely be a higher quality impact sub than Harness.

I think it’s unlikely though, and probably best to move on.

Is there a way to mute certain words? Like muting threads every two weeks that call to bring back a player that barely did anything when he was here (and healthy)? It's tremendously boring.

Forward, people. Not backward.

Would Celina be a step backwards given his career vs where Town have been though? Likewise, do we not revel in looking backwards as a fanbase?

For me, it'd be down to McKenna seeing something in him he wants to use.

Yep, this. If KM thinks he could add something, I’d love him back. He’s a game changer on his day and only 26 still. I think Kieran would be exactly the type of manager to get the best out of him. And he’s a nice chap (except for some of his conspiracy theorists rubbish). He’d fit in with the squad.

If KM isn’t interested that’s fine too. He’d certainly be an upgrade on Harness though.
