Why "lethargic"?

An utterly bizarre word to choose.

EDIT: A misunderstanding - I thought the adjectives were describing Hutchinson whereas they are three separate descriptions of the phases of the game. Apologies, downvote cancelled out.

Did you not think that we looked rather lethargic at the start of the second half. Those who yelled the loudest around me certainly seemed to think so. Cries of "wake up" were all around. The introduction of Hutchinson seemed to throw us back into gear.
