What is it, 4 games in 9 days, played 120 mins at Wembley, man sent off Sat.

No Leeds fan can accuse them of laying down and unprofessionalism. It was almost Hull like.

Couldn't have asked for more tonight. We didn't get handed it. Earned every last drop.

Also noteworthy, we haven't been behind in a game since Norwich.

Defo. At times it looked like we were the ones that had played 4 in 9 days.

They were almost unlucky, but apart from the astonishing save, they never looked that dangerous?
Simms is vastly overrted.

Fair points. It probably felt more dangerous than it was but you can't fault the effort from them and can't be accused of 'being on the beach'.

Coventry have some really good players, ones that you think can make the step up like Hamer and Gyokeres did.

Simms was poor tonight, but is clearly decent usually.

Did they? Yeah, you're right. Forgive me. Head is a bit all over the show.

Sorry to be pedantic, but we went behind against Middlesbrough.

I like Coventry. Good team, good manager, good club.

Truly impaired.

Yeah. I've been corrected. I won't edit though as it will make your replies look odd.

Not sure they were almost unlucky. We hit the keeper four or five times. But they certainly played well for 4 games in 9 days.

And hit the bar and had a clear penalty not given.

Sims and a couple of others put shots wide and over that they will be disappointed with but we were well worth the win.

Saying to a mate earlier, I can take losing/drawing, if the team we play against are giving it their all and playing football.
Hull and Coventry have shown to be far better teams than Norwich.

Their fans were top class at the end as well….. applauded us as they left, and outside were all wishing us well.

Class outfit. All very cordial. Nice to see. Proper old club who've seen their fair share of dark days.

If they play like that next year, they'll be very strong.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

I hope they go up next season. Keep the core together and they've got a great chance.

Still annoyed about the FA cup semi myself. They deserved to beat United.

Coventry and Hull for me.

And us if we so happen to still be there.

Was actually one of Simms better performances. He offers very little normally. Dangerous in the box however and has steaks of goals. Incredibly frustrating if he played for your team.

Yeah soft spots for them....
1....they had that unique kit in the 70s ( though the brown version was very marmite!)
2... 2tone...( which inspired another cracking kit)
