Jesus, I'm amazed at how unhealthily most of you in this thread eat. Bread, crisps, fizzy drinks and chocolate bars?!? This isn't a dig, I'm worried about you!

Today I'm having smoked salmon omelette with fresh chives off the window sill.
Lady Dollers is having the onion and chestnut mushroom soup I made yesterday.

What's wrong with bread, crisps, fizzy drinks and chocolate bars for lunch? Lots of people enjoy them (outside London anyway) myself included. It's only lunch, it's really not going to take years off your life.

There's lots wrong with all of those things, too much to go into here. Surely most people know they're not healthy? And yes, if that's a regular lunch it will certainly not be good for your health and will possibly take years off your life (unless you're eating/drinking super-healthily everywhere else).

"Lots of people enjoy them" has nothing to do with health!

I've had a tin of mackerel in olive oil in the cupboard for a little while so I drained the oil off the fish, mixed it with some soft cheese, parmesan, chopped up little tomatoes and black pepper, popped onto some toast and under the grill. Very nice.

Sausage sarnie and a coffee. Have my eye on a can of Coke in the fridge and some chocolate pecans for desert.

Tell more about this cherry juice Ken. Where can I purchase said item? Nothing cherry flavour is bad, cherry yoghurt is obviously the king of yoghurt for example

If most people know they're not healthy and have chosen to have a lunch they enjoy on a Friday, probably better to live and let live.

I don't think that's true. If it was KFC, fried breakfast and a ready meal each day then yes, but bread and crisps really? I don't think its worth spending your entire life not eating the things you enjoy just to be uber healthy and then have a 1 in 2 chance of getting cancer anyway.

This isn’t a dig but please look at me at how healthy I am. Please look at me, why isn’t anyone looking at me.

You should probably do a bit of research then. Just a quick google wouldn't take long.

You've also done the classic TWTD thing of exaggerating to extremes to counter my point. I haven't said you should "spend your entire life not eating the things you enjoy" and I haven't said it's "to be uber healthy " either.

It's pretty basic stuff knowing that bread, crisps, fizzy pop and chocolate bars aren't healthy, but I'll leave it there as I appear to be upsetting people and that wasn't my intention.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.
