To be honest I think a lot of our fans are probably taking Everton for granted but McKenna would be far more respectful when talking about the opposition

No one has I don't think. However they are currently around the relegation zone and we want to stay above them. So to do that we need a win and if we don't start winning games especially our home games we have no hope.

Is it a must win game. No
Is it one we really need to win yes but for different reasons
1 it gives us a gap to them
2. It could be a big confidence boost a massive one

Any other result than a win and for all the positive man management KM may have the squad are only human and if you can't beat Southampton or Everton who can you beat?

I remember when Town fans used to mock Plymouth counterparts for being far too sensitive to things said about them and trying really hard to find an issue where there wasn't one at all.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Everton are actually a place above us and not in the relegation zone, after taking 5 points from the last three games they have played.

This will be a tough game, as all Premier League games are, but has to be one that we need to target a win from.

Well we have got to win one eventually - and the longer it goes the more difficult it will be to be 17th or above come May.

Considering that was only three years ago, I’m not surprised.

It’s one of those things that you only say if you’re thinking exactly the opposite. Good news.

More objectionable is the repeated suggestion we are full of endeavour. Whilst that is true, it is something you say when you dont think there is any quality there....

This is the problem at this level. If you want to stay up you're going to need to win games, and while none of them are easy they also aren't all born equal. Most of the W's will likely come at PR, and when you double click on those 19 homes games you're probably looking at the teams outside the top 6 or 8 as the best chance. So nothing revolutionary in this, but you're right there's probably 12 really big home games this season, of which this is one, where we'll have to make some hay and get points on the board. We've probably had 1 already in Fulham where we got a draw which was decent, but need to be winning a fair few of them really.
