Firstly happy to keep any of our squad but clearly we will need to make room for signings (so no disrespect to any of our squad on here).
Ogbene - assume won't be registered for second half of season to make room (is there any rules around long term injuries that may allow them back in squad?).
Luongo - what a signing he was. Wasted not making squads so would like to see him sold/loaned as he deserves to be playing week in and out at his age.
Al Hamadi - has to go out and play and learn the game.
Harry Clarke - think he needs to play regularly somewhere to keep progressing with plan for him to come back next season.
Slicker - needs to go and have a half season playing regularly.
Needed:
Critical - CF, RW, RB. 3 most important signings for us.
Probably needed: CM if Luongo goes.

Think it is personally chelts.
I'd be looking at it with a big if that axel stays fit.. it's been a while since he's had a muscle injury we don't know how he's gonna fair after that.. we can't potentially risk going into the back end of the season with H Clarke and Johnson as our options. |  |

I think the injury identified how crucial it is though. If he gets another injury or recurrence then it's a major problem again. I don't think Johnson or Clarke have worked at this level in that role. | |

Wtf. When do we even start with this.
3 prolific prem strikers would cost £150 million if you got lucky! Which we can't spend within the rules. I imagine we can go to about £20 million total.
As I said we play one up top. Signing 3 gives us 5 (after Al Hamadi has gone). That will be fun keeping 4 strikers on the Bench/not even making the bench. (Or you want to sell Delap (that would be comedy) and Hirst?
Our top scorers have been played behind the main striker. Our number 9 and the system we play isn't design for a prolific number 9. They need to press, hold up and bring others into play. 10-15 goals from the 9 is fine and we need similar from the 10s. | |

Delap isn’t a striker that is really suited to the 1 man up top role.
As mentioned his touch can be poor and doesn’t look to bring others into play as his first thought.
He needs to be on the right, running at a full back.

There's been many a game where Davis has looked absolutely fked which isn't surprising considering the amount of mileage he covers in a game yet KM seems reluctant to use townsend. I think potentially we could see another one come in so we don't rely on Davis every game or leave him for 90 every week.
CM.. we need to think ahead. If we get relegated. We lose phillips and cajuste. We may get another one in if there is one keen who may be in the j clarke age range who could be developed so that they can be OK in the champ of we go down or develop as prem player if we don't. | |
