KM has more experience of managing in League One than in Champ and Prem combined. Just as many of his players have more League One experience than Champ and Prem. Manager has yet to prove himself to be up to Prem standard, no different to his players. | |

Kompany got the BM job due to his illustrious playing career. If he have had exactly the same managerial record but played mostly in the Championship there is no way that he would have been offered that particular job.
A bit like Frank Lampard - if he was mostly a L1 or L2 player he would be managing a club in the National League South. No way would he have been afforded so many opportunities to fail.

Not out of the question that someone from the PL will try and poach him this season, imo. Spurs? Admittedly would be a gamble, but people actually within the world of football, rather than us numpties who snipe from the sidelines, will know what an almost impossible job he's done with us, coming from the historic low point the club was in, to where we are now in just 3 years. People more knowledgeable than us will also understand that the main problem we currently have is not the coach, but the squad. Not enough depth or prem experience. We have not been a millions miles away in most games this season, which in the context of our back story and the squad we have is, by and large, extraordinary. |  |

My Spurs supporting pal refers to their new ground as "The Tottenham Entertainment Venue Limited, incorporating Tottenham Hotspur Football Club". Says it all really. Levy just looks at the overall venue as a business now, and not a fotball club.

Delap, Hutchinson, Clarke, Ogbene, Greaves and Szmodics are cracking signings, even if two haven't hit the ground running as such and one has been injured very unforunately.
We're stronger, but just not quite strong enough and that's not through lack of wanting to improve the squad, it's just we can't due to the restrictions of being in L1 then Champ to average our turnover down compared to our competitors.....we just aren't allowed to compete fairly.
We're an anomoly due to the rapid success and that's hurt us. |  | | |
