Yep, I'm in total agreement there, but buying Palmer isn't a measured, long-term move IMO. A good Championship keeper with little ceiling to improve - and nowhere near the distribution level required for McKennaball. | | | |

This signing looks as though, McKenna's comments from Saturday show he isn't comfortable with Muric.

And what if we go down? We have the same issue of two keepers of similar levels, with no defined #1.
I don't like this deal one bit, and is the first smell of a panic buy to me. Obviously prepared to be pleasantly surprised, but his distribution is definitely not an improvement on Walton. That has to be our prerequisite surely? | | | |
