As an aside, I know we have happy memories of Greene King due to the 1999-2000 promotion season shirt etc, but I wish we had more link ups with Adnams as I think a lot more Town fans drink that than GK. Just a matter of taste but I wouldn't wash my car with GK beer but Adnams have a superb range.

Their continued presence on the club website annoys me probably more than it should. But when Ashton has more than once said we don’t want a gambling sponsor on the shirt, kinda odd to have a very dodgy Asian betting site as a partner.

Think Adnams just wouldn't have the financial clout these days to sponsor us. They have had some tough times recently.

Gk only tastes like garbage because the pubs it ends up in the staff treat the beer like garbage.
Adnams might be cuddly & friendly on the one hand, and generally ends up in pubs where staff care more about the product, but their pub estates side is just as ruthless as GK. | | | |
