I think he will learn more training with these players and playing in cups than he will at a loan where we have no control over how he's played. Also might need him if we get a large injury crisis.
Not sure McAteer stays.
Don't think he's going to stay as a RW either.

Which is 25 players.
Presumably we'll end up with 3 goalkeepers.
Amongst the outfield players H.Clarke, Humphreys, Ogbene, Szmodics, Al-Hamadi, Akpom were all surplus to requirements last season, so little chance they're involved this season. So they'll be 6 of the outfield players.
Beyond that? You'd guess Johnson is the most vulnerable defender, Taylor the midfielder, Mehmeti the attacker, Hirst the striker.
