The inbetweeners first aired. Iconic.

This thread sums it up really:

I think so too.

I am not a fan of some of the language they use either.

The sexist language is used in an ironic way to ridicule that sort of behaviour.

In fairness, you definitely wouldn’t have been their target demographic.

Good but not a patch on the mighty Peep Show

I like The Inbetweeners, I watched the catwalk testicle one the other night, they are all very funny.

Peep show though is different class, one of the best ever, "They're eating Mummy"

Friday Night Dinner is back, er, on Friday.

Sh1t on it!

That thread appears to have been blocked now by twitter so the guys made it as a moments if you scroll down.

The pisstakin squirrel was one of many highlights of the thread for me. Very funny.

Tara's sister's description made me laugh. Simple yet effective!

I'd never watched Peep Show till last month and Inbetweeners is my favourite comedy. I think the characters of Mark and Will are very similar.

Peep Show is very Tory.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Think some people miss the point of The Inbetweeners.

It isn't just four teenagers p*ssing about for 30 minutes each episode, it's actually incredibly relatable for the vast majority of people under 40 and representative of what the older school years were like.

As Joe said, it's one of my favourite comedies of all time and every episode is funny even 10 years on. We all have mates that we can link to the characters and stupid stories similar to the plots on the program.

Very overrated IMO, but I accept I'm in the minority.

It was pretty enjoyable, but I wouldn't go as far to say iconic

I always wanted Mr Gilbert (Greg Davies) to feature more. The episode where Will takes Neil to Mr Gilbert for pastoral advice because he’s knocked up a co-worker on the Asda fish counter is fabulous.
