I wouldn't buy a new one but couldn't resist the Blue Pioneer, I'm sure others may decide to opt for a retro one though.

Clegg out!

Imagine because Adidas is one of the most strongly protected trademarks in the world and they would want a punishing fee from the manufacturer or the club.

Nottingham Forest did it when they were in a lower league.

I’ve never understood these mock retro shirts...

Why don’t people just get the real deal ones on eBay? I’ve picked up loads of Ipswich shirts from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s from anything around a tenner to £60.

I always wash em first mind

I haven't bought a football kit/shirt since i was 13 yrs old but that short sleeved, white UEFA Cup shirt is a thing of beauty. Ordered.

yeah you're right. I don't wear footy shirts even when playing footy but that white UEFA shirt is something isn't it ?
As a bore, I wondered when we used it.

Money is money, regrdless o the route it comes in

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Excellent question, I would never wear it to play football in, if at 38 I still could...wouldn't wear it to watch a game, because I'm 38....maybe a summer beer festival with a pair of crap shorts and flip flops (am I too old for flip flops?) ...holiday with the before mentioned flop flips...quite possibly?? Basically I'm not sure yet, but couldn't help myself.

It’s a shame the Pioneer ones don’t have the old Adidas logo and the 3 stripes. Understand the reasons but I think it would look class if they were on it. Only thing stopping me purchasing

The 2000 kit was great, one of my favourites. And an excellent team.

Why is the UEFA cup final shirt plain blue. Surely it was pin strip ?

Never understood this weird "rules" about wearing a football shirt as opposed to any other shirt.

If you like it you should wear it. People worried about it are the ones with the problem.

This is imo where the designers of the clothing seen in Planet Blue need a total rethink, some on the polo shirts aren't bad, but ruined with our badge stuck on it, on a football shirt yes but on something an adult might wear with jeans at the weekend a subtle little indication somewhere is all that's needed...like this one, a tiny horse crest similar to the Polo logo would look far far better...

Flashback to the Pioneer one I bought last season and the sponsor melted after one wash.

Think I’ll pass.

Just a heads up, bought the Wembley 2000 shirt and it's about 3 sizes smaller than it says it is. Don't compare the sizing with the Adidas sizing etc.

Sending mine back. Disappointed.

No, the pin-stripe kit came in at the start of the 1981-82 season, so we won the UEFA Cup in a plain blue shirt.

1980-81 Adidas kit is Town's finest. Will never be bettered.

France style Pioneer a cracker, as was 86-89. In fact all Town's kit's throughout the 70s and 80s were spot on.

That didn't work properly then, everyone* liked my suggestion of the red and black striped third kit form 92-93.

*Might not have been literally everyone.

If they ever did the Orange 1991/92 Shirt I would get that. I practically lived in that!

Do they take requests? haha

Same here! as an impressionable 15 year old I wore that shirt under my school shirt and never once got called out for wearing it. I would also happily part money for that orange masterpiece!

The copa kits are nice, but without the adidas logo and stripes or umbro logo, just aren't the same.

I'd rather a knock off from Thailand at half the price!
