Was watching a bit of the Wrexham game yesterday, that ground used to hold 35,000, how sad to see that huge "kop" terrace totally empty and not been in use for 12 years! They can't afford the repairs to it, looked a sorry state..

After all those years hoping for a cup run I'm not sure it matters much. There are only 20 teams in the draw lower down the football pyramid that Town and 43 above us.
Anyone that wouldn't be a distraction from league games which means anything but an away game to a premier League outfit, apologies to the happy clappy brigade.
My guess would be Accrington, Shrewsbury or Barnsley away Friday or Monday evening on television. At least we would make some money out of it. |  |
