Ah, the Third Round draw of the FA Cup tourney, the quintessential moment of any English soccer league season. Those few minutes of hope and expectation where you never quite know what to expect - other than (as probable) another elimination at the first available opportunity.
Is it decided yet ? Maybe in favor of a Shrewsbury game. After all, they've been bitching and complaining ever since we took Hurst off them - bringing up all manner of unprofessional behavior on our part - so seems fitting a trip there or home game to put them in their place would appear suitable.
It's a crap shoot these things, you never know what to expect. All you ask is Lambert takes it seriously when the time arises and the team puts on a performance that provides a chance of entry into subsequent rounds.
Will we win it ? In all probability No.
Can we make an effort and reach the latter stages ? Of course, all it requires is enough belief and focus. |  | | |

Me and a couple of the lads here have been doing some away games (Millwall, Reading, Stoke Saturday etc). They’re both arsenal fans. One of them gets to a few arsenal away games but they’ve quite liked going to these championship grounds.
But I’ve said I’ll buy their ticket for whoever we get in the cup if it’s away as their Christmas present. We went though the possibilities in the premiership and the only one we wouldn’t do is Cardiff. Fook that - dreadful away day.
