BANTER ERA NOV 2007 - APRIL 2023 09:55 - Feb 13 with 90216 viewschicoazul

What's your personal highlight of the Banter Era?
For me, the way Delaney told Jewell he was off to live in New York and needed to be let go, and then turned up at Palace a month or so later and enjoyed a promotion and a long career in the top flight.
I also like very much the fact Jewell signed Ingimarsson (sp) simply because they were at the same resort on holiday at the same time and Ingi did of course turn out to be an absolute knacker of a player.
Also the gangsters arriving at Playford Rd looking for Chopra.
What are yours?

The EADT campaigning vociferously for Magilton to leave then saying nothing when it was apparent that Keane was a far, far, far worse replacement.

He had to go though. It can be true that he had to go and Keane was a disaster too.

People who'd spent months, nay years, hurling abuse at the manager collectively wetting their drawers when he said a Bad Word.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Jonathan Symonds has a few too many Becks at one of those end of season dinner/cOck sucking events & he started spouting of players salaries, left his position at the club shortly after.

It's odd because, looking at him, I would never have expected that.

Nothing will ever top our fans singing anti itfc songs in a harmony with norwich fans at carrot road while 0-0 in a derby match

Not even the spectacle of them trying to convince everyone how good roy keane was while he had taken us bottom and blown more money than we'd spent in our history

Supposedly putting in January 2017 bids for Jordan Hugill and Marley Watkins, but ending up with Keiffer Moore.

Didn't we have Charlie Austin at the club ready to sign before he got a better offer? He'd have been quality in this league.

Sung in unison with the norwich fans because he didn't want to bring Celina on at Right Back for the injured Iorfa

Lincoln. Both games.

Leon Best looking p1ssed off at being subbed, despite the fact that the most running he did all night was running towards the touchline to come off the pitch...
