Toto up front 08:27 - Feb 25 with 4774 viewsChocorange

If Keane is out for 6 weeks with a hamstring injury, then he will be a big miss.

His hold up play and ability to win headers from crosses and defenders going long will be sorely missed.

Jackson has shown time and time again he cannot hold the ball up and Harrisin also struggled in that role. Bristol Rovers fans said he is better on the ground with the ball at his feet.

So with those 2 not up to it, younger players Folani, Morris and Lankester injured as well as Sears we are short on options. Stick with what we have tried and watch it fail it try something different?

Who do we play to go with Quaners pace.

Give Toto a go, deceptively quick and good in the air.... Maybe he can be the next Bam Bam!

Harrison obviously. He's been okay in the limited time he's had under Lambo.

No, not at the moment

Likewise Kenny Burns - a striker at Birmingham, converted into a defender at Forest.

Toto is headless enough in his preferred role!

Would be like a worse Frank Nouble.

More of an Ian Marshall.

Can't see this unless we're chasing something for the last 10 minutes of a game and he really doesn't look to have the attributes to me.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Bam Bam was a defender who became a striker who went back to being a defender again.

Yes but Bam Bam always told Burley he was a defender , George revealed this some years later !I think it was Joe Royle who believed him .

Naylor actually played in defence growing up in local Yorkshire teams. A mate at Uni played in the same team as him.

He played as a defender in the youth teams here until one season they were short of a big striker so he was sent up front. He did well and stayed there and broke into the first team playing there.

Harrison too has hamstring knack at the moment hence him not being in the squad last two games.
I'm looking forward to seeing Colin and I dunno, Bishop up front this week.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

I kind of want to see it happen if only for the laughs or the 'Toto is ridiculously good up front' fluke.

Perhaps a bad idea, but how about playing a striker up front? Harrison or Jackson.

If you are looking for someone with the skill to hold up the ball I think Toto will be way down your list.

Toto would be good in the air, has pace, but is not comfortable with the ball at his feet.
However, we have a player among our ranks that could certainly fulfill that role,... Chalobah.
A young footballer, with alround ability, good in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet. As an emergency centre forward, I think he could fit the bill, Skuse could replace him in midfield, but would need Judge and Bishop to be at their creative best.
Just a thought?
