Started off as a Marxist magazine didn't it (which will please Baz there immensely).
It has stood up for paedophile rehabilitation (apparently) over punishment.
Is known for its biased and unreasonable stance on climate change anyway and pushes the agenda regularly.
Was taken to court by ITV for making false claims regarding the Bosnian conflict, saying some rather unpleasant things to boot.

Unfortunately this is just about right, some people just don't want to be told the realities of the situation and that includes some very intelligent people.
Climate change due to coal burning was first postulated and calculated by Svante Arrhenius in the 1890's. He was a little way off, he thought it would take 3,000 years to move the climate 5C but he could see what would happen and there was a lot less coal burning back then.

It was nowhere near the size of Europe, at the end of Jan reports suggested about 7.7m hectares had been on fire which is about 1/3 of the size of the UK

By imposing stricter regulations, bringing into line those countries that don't give a sh!t and by using the billions in government funding they can access for the large-scale solutions that are needed.
Making it a current problem to resolve rather than something decades in the future is the solution. Thunberg has made a dent in that passivity.
