It really doesn't make any sense but not sure why I should be surprised.
They want the monuments protected so the police are there protecting them so obviously the sensible thing to do is attack the police so they are no longer protecting the monuments.
It just highlights to the very few people who didn't already realise it that these are just racist, bigoted thugs out to cause trouble and nothing else.
See I that in Bristol there is a counter "All Lives Matter" protest. Seems a lot of people are still missing the point you've highlighted rather well on here recently.

I don't see any Nazi salutes in there, assuming they even know any history and what one actually looks like.
What I do see is a bunch of degenerate lowlifes chanting football songs with their hands in the air and attacking police for no reason whatsoever.
It's despicable from people who are utter scum.
I do think we need to be careful here, if reporting isn't 100% accurate it gives them scope to deny their actions or even attack the reporting. I'm not saying they aren't doing them, almost certainly some will be at some point, it's just not that clear in watching that video.

As I said in my post, I don't doubt some would be doing it, they are utter idiots after all, just think the reporting needs to be as clear as can be. If you read that thread under the video there are plenty saying they can't see it and then they won't bother looking when it really does happen in a big way which it no doubt will at some point.
