Yes, but for the majority of those 19 years Bournemouth have been well below us, the point is that Ibe was clearly a HUGE purchase for Bournemouth and he didn't give them anything like what they expected, he was a clear and obvious waste of money and while you may say £15 million isn't much in the grand scheme of things that's just not the case considering their size as a club and potential profits, etc.

Hendrick is good enough for the Premier League. It depends how the Covid situation has changed things as far as wages are concerned but I doubt any player foresaw that as much as any club will have done. I would be surprised if Hendrick is not at least at a top Championship side next season.

He was what made Blackburn tick up top. He was excellent there and I'd have taken him over Rhodes every day of the week, especially when we had a decent manager like Mick.
He's too expensive and it's five years too late, but Gestede was definitely an excellent forward at Championship level. If we got him somehow and he was even close to that period of his career he'd dominate this league.
Whether we'd have the players to finish off the chances and possession is another debate. | |
