I did my OWN research and found out that there are around 20,000 deaths a year from it in the UK per year. That's only like 0.03% of the population. We live in fear of something that 99.97% of people won't die of. |  |

My brother in law has a heart problem and was tod that he would have to take Aspirin for the rest of his life.
'Imagine his horror when he was only given 2 months supply at the pharmacist. No one had told him he would get some more two months later

Well I demand my right to go out for a 10pm walk without a hat or coat when the outside temp is -1C cos that's my freedom of choice innit  and I also don't see why I shouldn't expect Mountain Rescue to come & look for me & Air Ambulance to lift me out to be treated for hypothermia at A&E cos that's what they're there for, I mean I pay my taxes so it's my right innit  |  |

Yes, if they die from injuries from a fall because the hypothermia caused them to be confused and fall from a great height, it wasn't the hypothermia that killed them was it? Many climbers die from falling and it was inevitable anyway. If they hadn't today they would have done sometime soon. | |
