That 3 behind Norwood look mobile with bags of energy and pace. On paper, they look ideally suited. Lets hope PL has stumbled across his starting XI, however our defence worries me still. Too many of them are just not performing currently. [Post edited 19 Jan 2021 15:51]

I like Dozzell, but we need the ball to be taken from defence (if we persist that way) rather than trying to get players to work with difficult balls from distance. |  | | |

We’ve had interest or bids reported by TWTD for Edwards, Jackson, Downes, Woolfie, Dobra and Dozzell from the PL and the Championship, Donacien and Nolan from L1 clubs, Sears from Colchester.
We’ve beaten clubs to signings from higher leagues for Ward and Norwood at least, we’ve beaten out Oxford and Sunderland just today for Luke Thomas.

Release a bunch of players from their contracts and start building a better team around our better players. Time to refresh this squad. Time to build a regular team.
Release 8 players and then free up a wage bill to target and headhunt hungry young players. Either on loan or permanent signings. Maybe young players from Premiership reserve teams.
Evans always spoke about a master plan but has carried on with the cheapest deals and poor decisions. | | | |
