Don’t think the 12 week gap was ever really contentious for Oxford one was it? Still good news for it to be confirmed though.

Any news on Pfizer one yet?

There was never any debate about the 12 week gap for the AZ vaccine. People were raising questions about that size gap for Pfizer.

There was at the beginning. I recall quite a few "lab rats" comments on here and some media outlets.

More importantly, the likes of Macon have been scaremongering that AZ is ineffective for over 65's, which has real life consequences.

I thin k it's reassuring that the WHO have endorsed our strategy and should put minds at rest who have had concerns re AZ or the length of gap between doses.

Probably but that decision should be science driven, not driven by backbench Tories screaming "liberty" and "freedom".

We are still a long way short of where the experts want the cases to be before we open up.

Yet, you've got Shapps today saying don't book any holidays in the UK or overseas until at least the autumn and quarantine hotels will stay until September.

Yes, that seems like a worryingly thought-through warning. I hope hes being over-cautious.
