Is there any point in protesting? Serious question not trolling, ME is putting £8 - £10 million a year into a mid table L1 club, I would say there is very little we could tell him that he does not already know. He is also trying very hard to honestly comply with all the FFP rules, which is frustrating for us as we see and hear of quite a few clubs blatantly fracturing them. All a protest would do is cause divisions between fans, we can only wait for another owner to come along, who has very deep pockets and a team of very creative accountants to allow greater investment than is allowed within the rules. |  | | |

Boycotting is one answer obviously. But the recent negative publicity surrounding the club and Evans must be embarrassing for him on a business/personal level. Hopefully if people stop funding the club and if the momentum for change continues in the local and national media his presence here will become untenable. My biggest fear though is that when Lambert is sacked all the zeal and negativity towards Evans will disappear under the guise of ''we need to give the new manager our full support'' etc. That cannot be allowed to happen if we want real change at this club. #EvansOut |  | | |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ipswich is in debt to Marcus Evans, so it is more like a loan of money. He expects the next owner to take-on or pay-off that debt. I see no indication that he plans on writing that debt off.
