A basic exorcism performed by the club chaplain would do the job perhaps?
And may be a few prayers?

I'm at the stage now where I don't just expect us to lose a match (specifically against half decent opposition) but I expect us to lose and there be a manky cherry on top of it.
A sending off, another injury, an OG, a plague of rats, a dog running on the pitch and dumping on Norwoods head, a freak tidal wave.....who knows?
Someone needs to do one of those rituals where you dispel all of the bad luck from the club.
Don't you have to pee in each corner of the ground or something?
Or sacrifice a live toad to the gods?

There’s a well-known medium in the town who has a good track record and has even helped the police at times. She’s a keen Town fan and when they were rebuilding the North Stand she wandered into Portman Road to warn the club there were tough times ahead because the work had awoken a medieval knight or something similar.
