Sorry don't agree I wanted Pearson but our cheeky chappy scouser is here now and has inherited the biggest poo bin in our history. I suggest you have think about this. It’s obvious Cook was who the new owners wanted in addition to ME and I’d be amazed if PC wasn’t aware broadly of what was happening, even if he was sworn to secrecy.

Which would be right imo, Regardless of how things are on the pitch at present, PC will have had months of prep to shortlist his 'wants' then months of pre season to put it together, League 1 promotion should be top priority next season nothing less, and if by xmas we're not top 6 then something clearly has gone wrong for PC. ( And as you know i'm a big PC fan. )

Any football manager will know that their job is tenuously held. Cook’s position is no different. If results are not good, he may well be replaced. It would be disappointing if the new owners didn’t give him a fair crack of the whip though.
