Only way out of this really isn’t it? As much as Perez and Agnelli are total vermin, they’ll have made sure the legal side of things is taken care of so clubs caving to pressure from fans, players etc. and withdrawing is the way to stop it.

Expect they’ll still plough ahead and invite the big names from the middle east along to the party.
