...washing the pants for Wigan one week and coaching the first team at Ipswich the next.

Scouse mafia.

Under qualified people in senior roles. Its the ipswich way, or has been for the last decade anyway..

Serious question, has he got coaching qualifications at all? Does seem an odd appointment on the surface of it.

...from what I can see.

But he then drifted out of the game and worked for his old man as a bread delivery driver before he started washing pants at Wigan.

(I'm not making this up)

I just looked him up - 400 games in his career, mostly with Accrington scoring 50 odd goals in his early career. That's not a bad career really, so will bring some experience to the table at least.

FFS

Signs are concerning, what with Gary Roberts also not having real coaching experience

Although he did work with PC at Wigan.

Genuine question, with Pullen, is it like a normal job where they can't just tell him to leave for someone else? . They can't make him redundant as the job still excists etc.

Maybe Craney has been brought in with Pullen maybe looking to leave once all his mates have gone?

Why is it odd? He is a former player with coaching qualifications who Cook has worked with. And it's not exactly a senior role. Gary Roberts has probably done the same amount of coaching. So what if he has been working as a kitman? It's not as if we have just employed the shopping trolley lad from Co-Op as our CEO.

At this rate you just need to be walking past Portman Road at the right time to get a coaching role.

Will depend on how Pullen is employed. If he has a contract with an expiry date, he can leave at the end of it or the club pay him the remainder.

....he's coming here as a coach.

I assume Pullen can carry on doing the laundry.

Craney is obviously going to have #megabantz as his main job role.

Guess the cash on offer at Ipswich now means that Cook can help out a few of his mates.
