Imagine the LOLs if Citeh signed him and left Kane in the cold

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Now we know why we haven’t signed that winger yet.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

They've gone too quick on Grealish, maybe Messi was waiting for him to go so he could join Villa?

Nah will almost certainly be PSG, unfortunately.

Is this a bluff hoping La Liga will fold and bend the rules so the league doesn't lose him?

Probably a good thing for Barca tbh. While Messi still has a few years left at the top level, I don’t think it’s worth it to completely hamstring the rest of the club just to keep him on board.

America would be the right choice. Start working on his life after football profile by rubbing shoulders with the movers and shakers. That would be my guess.

Yep, you are right 100M was his salary and doesn’t include sponsorship. That really is obscene, how much money do people really need.

Love how it is somehow the Spanish FA’s fault that Messi wants more money that Barcelona can currently afford.

Probably not out of kilter with other people at the top of their industry.

NBA, Golf, Music, reality TV.

It is obscene, but commercially he earns it.

I suspect there’s an element of that and also so Barca can pin it on la Liga as to why he couldn’t stay.

Barcelona are broke. It’s as simple as that

That’s a pretty good “financial obstacle”
