I agree - it was a fair question to ask and in Phil’s shoes, I’d have asked it. Not least because it’s a thought that will have run through most peoples’ heads including Cook’s.

I asked that. Is it not a fair question in the context of the character of last year's team having been so widely questioned? Of the feeling having been that a goal went in and then that was that? I couldn't see last year's team having come from behind in a game twice to draw, could you? |
Agreed. What was more interesting was that for the first time in years, i actually felt like we were going to get the equaliser and that we had the options and ambition to do it.
If anyone wants to question Cook (and there are a few fence sitters at the moment), i'd point to these little things as the 'green shoots' we should be looking for. |  |
