Yep. Powder puff in the tackle as per usual. Few little passes but he just doesn't influence the game enough to offer so little from a defensive stand point.
If he's going to make it at a decent level, he needs to work a hell of a lot on his defensive game because he was just a passenger in this game.

Think a change of scene will suit him, not sure he was well suited to League One. He certainly has the potential to do ok at a higher level and is still pretty young. |
Agreed. I think it was the right move for everyone all things considered, he couldn't have played in a midfield two in Cook's system in League 1. Last season was a slog for him and a change of scene will do him good. I expect he'll still have a decent career. |  |

He needs a lot of coaching. I am a little surprised that the QPR manager thought he was ready to start at the moment but perhaps he was their best option for whatever reason.
However, if he can learn to tackle and not give away silly fouls all the time, he has the skill to be a very good player. I hope he does. Indeed, once developed, I would be very happy for him to be back here running things in our midfield at much higher level. |  |
